Job summary

Good Job Creations (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Operations Specialist to support daily production, perform equipment checks, and assist in NPI and process improvements on the production floor.

You will collaborate with Production, Quality, Supply Chain and Engineering while maintaining work instructions and reports, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards. A Diploma or equivalent and 1–3 years in related fields are preferred.

Qualifications

• NITEC/Higher NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Mechatronics or related field.
• 1–3 years in semiconductor, electronics, precision engineering, or manufacturing environments.
• Experience supporting production operations, engineering builds or process improvement.
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support daily manufacturing operations and help resolve process issues on the production floor.
• Perform equipment, tooling, and process checks for smooth production.
• Assist with engineering builds, trials, NPI, and product transfers.
• Collect production and process data for analysis and reporting.
• Assist Manufacturing Engineers with troubleshooting and corrective actions.
• Support change implementation and keep manufacturing docs updated.
• Prepare and maintain work instructions, records, checklists, and reports.
• Participate in Lean, 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering to meet objectives.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and company procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support daily manufacturing operations and assist in resolving process-related issues on the production floor.
• Perform equipment, tooling, and process checks to ensure smooth production operations.
• Support engineering builds, product trials, new product introduction (NPI), and product transfer activities.
• Collect production and process data for analysis and reporting.
• Assist Manufacturing Engineers in troubleshooting manufacturing issues and implementing corrective actions.
• Support engineering change implementation and ensure manufacturing documentation is updated accordingly.
• Prepare and maintain work instructions, process records, checklists, and manufacturing reports.
• Participate in continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing, and 5S initiatives.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to support manufacturing objectives.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and company procedures.

Requirements

• NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Preferably 1-3 years of experience in semiconductor, electronics, precision engineering, or manufacturing environments.
• Experience supporting production operations, engineering builds, or process improvement activities.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and root cause troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions, procedures, and documentation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Self-motivated, hands‑on, and able to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience supporting NPI or engineering change activities.
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP or Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
• Basic understanding of quality tools such as SPC, PFMEA, or corrective action methodologies.
• Experience in semiconductor equipment, automation, precision assembly, or manufacturing processes will be an advantage.
