Job summary

JonDavidson Pte Ltd is seeking a Technical Lead (Engineer / Senior Engineer) to lead product transfers from manufacturing sites to Contract Manufacturers and support outsourced NPI/NPD programs.

The role ensures industrialization, qualification, ramp-up, and manufacturing performance while meeting quality, cost, delivery, and customer requirements.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s in Engineering and 7–10 years of experience; semiconductor equipment experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• 7–10 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, NPI/NPD, Product Transfer, Industrialization, Supplier Engineering, or Contract Manufacturing.
• Experience in semiconductor equipment, automation systems, capital equipment, or precision manufacturing preferred.
• Strong foundation in DFM/DFA/DFT, BOMs, PLM, ECO/ECN, and product lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end manufacturing transfer projects and production ramp-up.
• Develop transfer plans, readiness reviews, risk mitigation, and qualification activities.
• Coordinate transfer of processes, tooling, fixtures, test systems, documentation, and manufacturing knowledge.
• Support outsourced NPI/NPD programs with DFM/DFA/DFT integration early.
• Serve as primary technical interface with Contract Manufacturers and drive supplier capability development.
• Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage cross-functional stakeholders, project risks, escalations, and executive reporting.

Job description

The Technical Lead (Engineer / Senior Engineer) is responsible for leading product transfers from manufacturings ites to Contract Manufacturers (CMs) and supporting outsourced NPI/NPD programs. The role ensures successful industrialization, qualification, production ramp-up, and manufacturing performance while meeting quality, cost, delivery, and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Co-lead end-to-end manufacturing transfer projects and production ramp-up activities.
• Develop transfer plans, readiness reviews, risk mitigation strategies, and qualification activities.
• Coordinate transfer of processes, tooling, fixtures, test systems, documentation, and manufacturing knowledge.
• Support outsourced NPI/NPD programs and ensure DFM, DFA and DFT considerations are incorporated early.
• Serve as the primary technical interface with Contract Manufacturers and drive supplier capability development.
• Support FAI, PPAP, process validation, copy-exact transfer, engineering change management, and configuration control.
• Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage cross-functional stakeholders, project risks, escalations, and executive reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• 7–10 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, NPI/NPD, Product Transfer, Industrialization, Supplier Engineering, or Contract Manufacturing.
• Experience in semiconductor equipment, automation systems, capital equipment, or precision manufacturing is preferred.
• Strong experience in module and system level test protocol, test stations setup will be a strong candidate for consideration.
• Strong technical foundation in manufacturing processes, DFM/DFA, engineering drawings, BOMs, tolerances, PLM, ECO/ECN, and product lifecycle management.
• Strong project leadership skills with proven ability to manage milestones, risks, stakeholders, and multiple concurrent programs.
