What you’ll be doing...

The Prime Named AE for Public Sector will drive the sales journey. You will lead a team of Account Executives to manage complex, strategic transactions, develop a Destination Team with a culture of support, inclusion, operational excellence, and performance. Your responsibilities include:

  1. Setting and executing an aggressive customer acquisition strategy to achieve revenue and booking growth.
  2. Accurately forecasting your business and managing the sales process with appropriate metrics.
  3. Holding yourself and your team accountable to meet and exceed sales quotas and pipeline goals.
  4. Building trusted relationships with key stakeholders across corporate teams, including marketing, product development, operations, and recruiting.
  5. Implementing and ensuring adherence to internal sales processes and methodologies.
  6. Aligning product, customer success, and services teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
  7. Staying informed about competitors and market trends.
  8. Leveraging extensive public sector experience to navigate complex sales cycles, ensuring compliance with regulations and procurement processes.
  9. Developing strategies tailored to public sector clients, including government agencies, educational institutions, and non-profits.
  10. Maintaining strong relationships with public sector stakeholders to understand their goals and demonstrate how Salesforce solutions can meet their needs.
Who you are...
  1. 8+ years of experience in sales or sales management, with leadership experience.
  2. Extensive experience working with public sector clients, understanding their unique needs and procurement processes.
  3. A consistent record of exceeding quotas and revenue targets.
  4. Proven ability to build satisfied, loyal, and referenceable customers.
  5. Experience working within a highly matrixed organization.
  6. Strong operational, analytical, and strategic planning skills.
  7. Experience selling complex software solutions at the C-level.
  8. Proven success in recruiting, developing, and leading high-performing sales teams.
  9. Ability to develop strategies addressing the specific requirements of public sector entities.
