What you’ll be doing...
The Prime Named AE for Public Sector will drive the sales journey. You will lead a team of Account Executives to manage complex, strategic transactions, develop a Destination Team with a culture of support, inclusion, operational excellence, and performance. Your responsibilities include:
- Setting and executing an aggressive customer acquisition strategy to achieve revenue and booking growth.
- Accurately forecasting your business and managing the sales process with appropriate metrics.
- Holding yourself and your team accountable to meet and exceed sales quotas and pipeline goals.
- Building trusted relationships with key stakeholders across corporate teams, including marketing, product development, operations, and recruiting.
- Implementing and ensuring adherence to internal sales processes and methodologies.
- Aligning product, customer success, and services teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
- Staying informed about competitors and market trends.
- Leveraging extensive public sector experience to navigate complex sales cycles, ensuring compliance with regulations and procurement processes.
- Developing strategies tailored to public sector clients, including government agencies, educational institutions, and non-profits.
- Maintaining strong relationships with public sector stakeholders to understand their goals and demonstrate how Salesforce solutions can meet their needs.
Who you are...
- 8+ years of experience in sales or sales management, with leadership experience.
- Extensive experience working with public sector clients, understanding their unique needs and procurement processes.
- A consistent record of exceeding quotas and revenue targets.
- Proven ability to build satisfied, loyal, and referenceable customers.
- Experience working within a highly matrixed organization.
- Strong operational, analytical, and strategic planning skills.
- Experience selling complex software solutions at the C-level.
- Proven success in recruiting, developing, and leading high-performing sales teams.
- Ability to develop strategies addressing the specific requirements of public sector entities.
