Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a seasoned MySQL DBA in Brazil to manage large-scale production databases and ensure high availability. The role focuses on installation, tuning, backup, replication, and performance improvements across multiple environments.

Strong Linux skills and experience with InnoDB storage engines are required. The candidate will work with monitoring tools, participate in on-call rotations, and implement robust HA/DR strategies while coordinating with cross-functional

• Strong hands-on experience as a MySQL DBA.
• In-depth knowledge of MySQL architecture and InnoDB storage engines.
• Experience with backup, recovery, and replication.
• Skilled in performance tuning and query optimization.
• Understanding HA/DR solutions and failover mechanisms.
• Working knowledge of Linux/Unix systems.
• Experience handling large, mission-critical production databases.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and slow query analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Install, configure, and administer MySQL databases (5.7 / 8.0) across Dev, Test, UAT, and Production.
• Monitor database performance, availability, and health.
• Backup and recovery using mysqldump and XtraBackup.
• Manage database storage including tables, indexes, partitions, and file systems.
• Tune queries and configure systems for performance.
• Configure and maintain MySQL replication (Master–Slave / Primary–Replica / Group Replication).
• Implement High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions.
• Patch, upgrade, and migrate databases.
• Manage users, privileges, roles, and security.
• Troubleshoot production incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
• Automate routine DBA tasks with shell scripts.
• Coordinate deployments and outages with app/infrastructure teams.
• Maintain database documentation, SOPs, and runbooks.
• Participate in 24x7 on-call and production support rotation.
