Job summary

Northcroft Lim Consultants Pte Ltd seeks an MEP Executive QS to manage all aspects of cost estimation, tendering, procurement, contract administration and cost control for MEP systems on construction projects.

The role requires 4–6 years of QS experience, a relevant degree, and strong proficiency with AUTOCAD and MS Office tools. You will liaise with consultants, main contractors, and vendors to resolve cost issues in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or a related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in Quantity Surveying Consultancy Firm or Construction Firm.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and construction processes.
• Excellent skills with cost estimation software and MS Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint).
• Executive communication, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Source quotations, perform price comparison and costing summaries.
• Prepare project costing and tender/contract documents.
• Liaise with Consultants, Main Contractors, Sub-Contractors, Clients and suppliers for cost issues.
• Oversee cost estimation, tendering, procurement, contract administration and cost control of MEP systems.

Job description

This candidate shall be required to perform the following responsibilities: -

Roles & Responsibilities

• To source for quotations, price comparison and costing summary;
• To prepare project costing;
• To prepare documents for tender and contract; &
• To liaise with Consultants, Main Contractors, Sub-Contractors, Clients and suppliers/vendors for project cost issues.
