Job summary

Acromec Engineers Pte Ltd seeks a Mechanical Engineering professional to support senior engineers in developing project plans, schedules, and documentation during project or tender phases. You will help prepare and maintain project documentation, including daily progress reports and as-built drawings.

You will coordinate with contractors and vendors, assist in calculations, ensure quality through site inspections and testing, and contribute to a collaborative team while learning and growing in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
• Basic understanding of MEP systems and design principles.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, and CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry trends

Responsibilities

• Support project/tender phase by helping develop project plans, schedules, and documentation.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including daily progress reports and site diaries.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors; assist in site inspections and quality control checks.
• Understand client requirements and assist in engineering calculations and drawings under guidance of senior engineers.
• Assist in the selection and specification of equipment and materials; research technical data.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks; prepare method statements and QA processes; support testing and commissioning.

About the role

This role involves supporting senior engineers in developing project plans, schedules, and documentation during project or tender phases, demonstrating understanding of project management methodologies. You will prepare and maintain project documentation, including daily progress reports, site diaries, and as-built drawings, while coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Project/ Tender Support

• Prepare and assist senior engineers in developing project plans, schedules, and documentation during project or tender phase, demonstrating understanding of project management methodologies.

• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including daily progress reports, site diaries, and as-built drawings.

• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors as needed.
  Support site inspections and quality control checks.

Technical Assistance

• Understand client’s requirement and prepare engineering calculations and drawings under the guidance of senior engineers.

• Prepare and assist in the selection and specification of equipment and materials.

• Research and analyze technical data.

Quality Assurance

• Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to ensure project compliance.

• Prepare and implement method of statement and processes for quality assurance.

• Coordinate and carry out testing and commissioning activities to ensure systems are operational and meet performance requirements.

• Prepare operational and maintenance manuals and as-built drawing for project handover.

Learning & Development

Requirements:
