The Manager, Human Resources is responsible for leading a team of HR partners who support managers throughout the HR lifecycle, including talent development, employee engagement, employee relations, performance management, and retention. HR Partners help leaders make informed business decisions and work with managers to build high-performing, engaged teams. This role promotes cultural alignment with business strategies, company values, policies, and legislative requirements, advocating HR best practices and maintaining a positive workplace environment.

This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing team and develop the HR function across the LATAM region. We seek a multi-country expert to establish effective relationships, implement HR best practices locally, ensure legal compliance, and build the HR department from the ground up across LATAM.

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide coaching to direct reports and handle escalations within the assigned region.
  2. Act as a strategic business partner across multiple countries, ensuring consistent application of policies and practices, and fostering an ethical, compliant work environment.
  3. Recommend new policies and procedures aligned with business goals to improve productivity and HR development.
  4. Monitor employee engagement to maintain a high level of employee satisfaction.
  5. Administer HR policies, ensuring adherence to corporate strategies.
  6. Ensure legal compliance across all countries in the HR lifecycle.
  7. Serve as the first point of contact for employees and managers on HR topics.
  8. Identify, report, and resolve employee relations issues.
  9. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive data.
  10. Develop and oversee the team’s budget.
  11. Conduct and oversee internal investigations as needed.
  12. Facilitate group processes and promote employee involvement and problem solving.
  13. Implement HR quality compliance guidelines and procedures.
  14. Identify training needs and ensure personnel are adequately trained.
  15. Establish SOPs, HR best practices, and processes across the region.
  16. Coordinate benefits setup for each country, aligning with global strategy.
  17. Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
  1. 8+ years of experience in a business partner role.
  2. 5+ years of leadership experience.
  3. 6-8+ years managing risk, applying employment law, and building engaged teams in at least three of the following countries: Mexico, Uruguay, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Chile.
  4. Fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish.
  5. Proven success in building an HR department across LATAM.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience managing risk, employment law, and engaged teams in all listed countries.
Travel:
  • 20-25%
