Latin America Marine Senior Business Development Manager

RINA is currently recruiting for a Latin America Marine Senior Business Development Manager to join its office in Brazil or Panama within the Latin America Marine Division.

Mission

The mission of a Senior Business Development Manager (SBDM) is to take a leadership role in driving growth and expanding business opportunities within the LATAM region, focusing on Panama, Mexico, Nicaragua, Colombia, and Venezuela. The Senior Business Development Manager leads efforts to increase the sales pipeline and secure contracts for an assigned services portfolio and geographical area. #LI-KM

Key Accountabilities
  1. Sales Forecasting and Planning: Participate in developing effective sales forecasts and plans. Contribute to executing short- and long-term sales and marketing strategies.
  2. Opportunity Pipeline Management: Build and maintain an accurate opportunity pipeline aligned with business objectives.
  3. Customer Engagement and Needs Analysis: Engage with customers to understand their needs and inform sales strategies.
  4. Order Intake Pipeline Management: Drive and monitor the order pipeline, updating with new prospects.
  5. Contracts, Tenders, and Quotations: Lead major contracts and tenders, supporting closing activities and capturing lessons learned.
  6. Alliances and Partnerships: Explore opportunities for alliances and new markets through strategic partnerships.
  7. Competitor Analysis and Intelligence: Track competitor activities and update on market intelligence to refine strategies.
  8. Pipeline Qualification: Identify and prioritize opportunities aligned with business goals.
  9. Cross-Selling and Mutual Opportunities: Collaborate across departments to develop cross-selling opportunities.
  10. Technology Solutions and Offerings: Stay informed about RINA’s offerings and communicate technological solutions effectively.
Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field

Master’s Degree in Economics or related field

Qualifications
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in business development, sales, or related roles.
  • Deep industry and market trend understanding related to RINA services.
  • Strong strategic planning, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Excellent networking abilities with key clients and partners.
  • Proven success in achieving sales targets.
  • Experience with global and local markets where RINA operates.
