Jobtailor in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, seeks a skilled contract lawyer to analyze and draft contracts, ensuring compliance with internal standards and guidance from the Legal team. You will help standardize templates, identify risks, and support multiple departments with day-to-day legal queries.

The role requires strong experience in corporate law, contract negotiation, and risk assessment, with proficiency in legal operations and AI tools applied to legal work. LGPD familiarity is valued.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Law and active OAB registration.
• Substantial experience in contracts and corporate legal advisory.
• Knowledge of Corporate and Business Law and applicable regulations.
• Experience in legal risk analysis and contract negotiation.
• Analytical skills and ability to interact with different departments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, detail oriented, organized.

• Analyze, review, and draft contracts, ensuring compliance with internal standards and guidance from the Legal team
• Assist with standardizing and updating contract templates in accordance with established guidelines
• Identify basic legal risks and flag points requiring attention for leadership review
• Provide support to Sales, Finance, HR, and other teams by addressing day-to-day legal questions
• Prepare legal opinions and straightforward reports with guidance from the team
• Support the management of labor and employment matters by monitoring proceedings and organizing information
• Participate in meetings with stakeholders, contributing analyses and documentation under supervision
• Support internal training on legal topics and best practices
• Assist with the analysis of bid notices and government contracts with support from the Legal team
• Support process improvement and automation initiatives, including the use of tools and technology
• Contribute to the organization and standardization of legal routines, ensuring information control and quality

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law and active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB)
• Substantial experience in the legal field, with strong experience in contracts and corporate legal advisory
• Knowledge of Corporate and Business Law, including applicable legislation and regulations
• Experience in legal risk analysis and contract negotiation
• Analytical skills and strategic perspective to support decision-making
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with different departments
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and effective management of multiple demands
• Familiarity with legal document management tools and technologies
• Preferred, but not required: experience managing a high volume of contracts in a dynamic corporate environment; background in compliance, Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD), and corporate governance; experience in legal operations and the use of AI applied to legal work; experience with contract automation and operational efficiency projects; legal English for contract review and negotiation

Demonstrates expertise in contract analysis, legal risk assessment, and corporate law, with a strong ability to communicate effectively across departments. Proficient in managing legal documentation and supporting compliance initiatives within a corporate environment.
