MEDLOG USA is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to manage a focused portfolio of smaller and developing accounts. You will engage with customers, identify growth opportunities, qualify leads, and support cross-selling across MEDLOG services.

The role emphasizes CRM discipline, customer intelligence, and alignment with operations to drive measurable account growth. Requirements include 3–5 years in related roles, a preferred business degree, and strong communication skills.

Qualificações

  • 3–5 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, account management, logistics, transportation, or related role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, discovery, and active-listening skills.
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
  • Ability to analyze customer activity and account data to identify growth opportunities.

Responsabilidades

  • Manage assigned customer accounts with outreach and follow-up.
  • Identify customer needs and growth opportunities through discovery and engagement.
  • Qualify leads and opportunities across drayage, logistics, warehousing, cold storage, and other services.
  • Coordinate opportunities with outside sales and internal experts for quotes, proposals, onboarding.
  • Maintain CRM records with contacts, notes, and pipeline updates.
  • Use CRM data and dashboards (Power BI) to monitor activity and progress toward goals.
  • Support retention and growth by addressing service needs and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Collaborate across departments to align pricing, capacity, and service expectations.
  • Prepare account summaries and reports for Sales leadership.
  • Represent MEDLOG professionally and promote accountability and teamwork.

The Inside Sales Representative will support MEDLOG USA’s strategic sales model by managing a focused portfolio of smaller, developing, and strategically important accounts. This role is responsible for maintaining consistent customer engagement, identifying growth opportunities, qualifying leads, supporting cross-selling across MEDLOG services, and strengthening internal alignment so customer commitments are supported by operational reality. The position supports the shift from broad selling activity to deeper account relationships, better customer intelligence, disciplined CRM usage, and measurable account growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage assigned customer accounts and maintain consistent outreach, follow-up, and account activity.
  • Identify customer needs and growth opportunities through discovery calls, account reviews, research, and ongoing engagement.
  • Qualify leads and opportunities across drayage, logistics, warehousing, cold storage, and other MEDLOG services.
  • Partner with outside sales and internal subject matter experts to coordinate strategic opportunities, customer meetings, quotes, proposals, and onboarding.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, including contacts, notes, opportunity stages, pipeline updates, follow‑up tasks, and next steps.
  • Use CRM data, Power BI dashboards, and other reporting tools to monitor account activity and progress toward sales goals.
  • Support customer retention and account growth by following up on service needs, identifying cross‑sell opportunities, and coordinating timely resolution of open items.
  • Work closely with Sales, Operations, Dispatch, Warehousing, Logistics, Finance/Credit, and Marketing to align pricing, capacity, service expectations, and customer commitments.
  • Prepare account summaries, opportunity updates, engagement recaps, and follow‑up reports for Sales leadership.
  • Represent MEDLOG professionally and contribute to a culture of accountability, teamwork, proactive communication, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
  • 3- 5 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, account management, logistics, transportation, supply chain, or a related commercial support role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, Marketing, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Strong communication, relationship‑building, discovery, and active‑listening skills.
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, follow‑through, and ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
  • Ability to analyze customer activity, account data, and internal feedback to identify growth opportunities.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office. Experience with Excel, Power BI, or similar reporting tools is preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and clearly communicate customer needs and next steps.
Preferred Experience:
  • Intermodal, drayage, ocean‑adjacent logistics, warehousing, cold storage, domestic transportation, or third‑party logistics.
  • Working with BCOs, freight forwarders, intermediaries, ocean carriers, retailers, food or consumer goods companies, or manufacturers.
  • Supporting RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, pricing follow‑up, customer onboarding, account reviews, or sales pipeline reporting.
