Sudarshan Chemical Industries Ltd. is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst to support month-end and year-end closings, prepare reconciliations, and ensure compliance with CPC requirements, IFRS and internal controls.

The role covers SAP-related projects, data validation and documentation, and collaboration with Tax, Treasury and other departments. Candidate will analyze accounting balances, prepare reports, assist audits, and contribute to process improvements and standardization of accounting

Qualificações

• Solid experience in accounting and financial closing activities.
• Experience with reconciliations, provisions, fixed assets and financial statements.
• Knowledge of Brazilian accounting standards and IFRS.
• Experience with statutory obligations, including ECD and ECF.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Advanced English (B2+).

Responsabilidades

• Perform and review balance-sheet and profit-and-loss account reconciliations.
• Prepare and post accounting entries, accruals, provisions, reclassifications and closing adjustments.
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual accounting closings.
• Analyze accounting balances and investigate discrepancies and unusual variations.
• Prepare accounting reports, schedules and supporting documentation.
• Support the preparation and review of financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with Brazilian accounting standards, CPC requirements, IFRS and corporate accounting policies.
• Prepare or support statutory and ancillary accounting obligations, including ECD and ECF.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing documents, reconciliations and explanations.
• Monitor audit findings and support the implementation of corrective actions.
• Perform fixed-asset accounting activities, including capitalization, depreciation, transfers and disposals.
• Reconcile intercompany balances and transactions.
• Support inventory, production and cost-accounting activities when required.
• Maintain appropriate documentation and evidence for accounting transactions.
• Work closely with Tax, Treasury, Controlling, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Procurement and other departments.
• Participate in SAP implementation, migration and improvement projects.
• Support data validation, testing, reconciliations and issue resolution during SAP project activities.
• Contribute tothe standardization, documentation and improvement of accounting processes and internal controls.
• Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements.
• Support regional and global accounting requests and communicate with international stakeholders.

The Senior Accounting Analyst will be responsible for supporting the company’s accounting operations, month-end and year-end closing activities, statutory requirements, internal controls, audits and SAP-related projects.

Candidate requirements:

• Experience with account reconciliations, provisions, fixed assets and financial statements;
  
• Knowledge of Brazilian accounting standards and IFRS;
  
• Experience with statutory and ancillary obligations, including ECD and ECF;
  
• Previous experience supporting internal and external audits;
  
• Practical knowledge of SAP, preferably SAP FI/CO or SAP S/4HANA;
  
• Participationin SAP implementation or migration projects is highly desirable;
  
• Advanced Excel skills;
  
• Advanced English (B2 + );
  
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills;
  
• Ability to manage deadlines and priorities during closing periods;
  
• Experience inthe chemical or manufacturing industry is desirable.
