You will support accounting routines, consolidate financial information, and prepare reports and presentations for local and global teams. The position is hybrid, with four days in the Vila Madalena office and one remote day.

Qualificações

A multinational company is looking for an Accounting Specialist to join its finance team in São Paulo.

We are seeking a professional with solid accounting knowledge, strong reporting skills, and confidence communicating in English with international stakeholders. This person will support accounting routines, consolidate financial information, and prepare reports and presentations for local and global teams.

The position requires frequent interaction with colleagues from other countries, including regular meetings conducted in English.

Main responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and consolidate accounting and financial reports;
• Support monthly and annual closing activities;
• Analyze account balances, variances, and financial results;
• Prepare management reports and presentations for international stakeholders;
• Participate in meetings with global teams, presenting financial information in English;
• Perform accounting reconciliations, provisions, journal entries, and general ledger activities;
• Work closely with external accounting partners and internal departments;
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable controls and reconciliations;
• Ensure compliance with Brazilian accounting, tax, and corporate requirements;
• Support audits and provide the necessary reports and documentation;
• Improve financial controls, reporting routines, and internal processes.

Required background

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field;
• Previous experience in accounting, controllership, or financial reporting;
• Strong experience preparing and analyzing financial reports;
• Knowledge of accounting closing, reconciliations, provisions, and general ledger;
• Knowledge of Brazilian accounting and tax routines;
• Advanced Excel skills;
• Experience with ERP systems;
• Advanced English, including the ability to participate actively in meetings and present financial information;
• Strong analytical skills, organization, autonomy, and attention to detail.
• Experience in multinational companies;
• Experience working with global or matrix teams;
• Knowledge of IFRS;
• Experience with accounting BPOs, shared services, or external accounting firms;
