Jobtailor seeks an accounting professional to support monthly and annual close, ensure data integrity in financial statements, and coordinate with subsidiaries, auditors, and internal teams.

The role emphasizes automating tasks using Excel, Google Sheets, Power BI, Apps Script, VBA, Python, and SQL in a multi-currency environment.

Office-based in Centro, Rio de Janeiro on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Qualificações

• Degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or Engineering.
• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills, with an enthusiasm for automating repetitive tasks
• Intermediate English proficiency (for interaction with regional operations)
• Ability to work from the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays, Centro, Rio de Janeiro
• Preferred: Experience at a publicly traded company, Big Four firm, or in a multi-currency environment
• Preferred: Knowledge of the Protheus system
• Preferred: Experience with Apps Script, Power BI, VBA, Python, or SQL applied to accounting processes

Responsabilidades

• Participate in the monthly and annual accounting close process by updating files, foreign exchange rates, and currency conversions, and reviewing journal entries
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing requested documents and reports
• Ensure the integrity of the data presented in the balance sheet, income statement, and other financial statements
• Manage the close schedule with subsidiaries, outsourced accounting providers, and internal teams
• Build internal tools that eliminate manual steps in the close process, with a focus on the secure handling of accounting data
• Support management with other ad hoc requests
• Assist with internal controls
