Job summary

SourceHub in Curitiba, Brazil, seeks a Financial Analyst Jr to support data accuracy, financial control, and decision support. The role covers budgeting, variance analysis, and cross-functional collaboration within our SSC for ScanSource Group.

In this CLT position, you will analyze statements, monitor KPIs, and assist audits, while collaborating with Accounting, Tax, and Controllership teams. A strong English level and ERP experience are required for US HQ reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
• Fluent English, able to participate in weekly meetings with the U.S. headquarters.
• Mid-level experience in finance/analyst role.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, P&L, and cash flow.
• Proficient in Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Totvs/Protheus).

Responsibilities

• Analyze and monitor financial statements (P&L, cash flow, reports).
• Prepare and update financial controls, reports, and KPIs.
• Perform variance analysis against budget and forecast.
• Support budgeting process and reforecasts.
• Monitor costs, expenses, revenues, and classifications.
• Track payments and collections for cash flow.
• Coordinate with Accounting, Controllership, Tax and other teams.
• Assist audits with documentation and responses.
• Improve financial processes and internal controls.
• Ensure deadlines and confidentiality of financial data.

We are currently seeking a Financial Analyst Jrto support and execute the company’s financial activities, ensuring data accuracy, financial control, and decision-making support. This professional will be responsible for financial analysis, performance monitoring, budget control, and cross-functional collaboration, contributing to process efficiency and the long-term financial sustainability of the business.

Main responsibilities

• Analyze and monitor financial statements, including Income Statement (P&L), Cash Flow, and management reports.
• Prepare, maintain, and update financial controls, periodic reports, and performance indicators (KPIs).
• Perform variance analysis comparing actuals versus budget and forecast, identify deviations, and recommend corrective actions.
• Support the annual budgeting process and ongoing budget reviews and reforecasts.
• Monitor and control costs, expenses, and revenues, ensuring proper classification and compliance with internal policies.
• Track payments and collections, providing support for cash flow management.
• Act as a key point of contact with Accounting, Controllership, Tax, and other internal teams.
• Support internal and external audits by organizing documentation and responding to audit requests.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes, internal controls, and automation initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with deadlines, internal policies, and confidentiality requirements related to financial information.

Requirements and skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or related fields.
• Fluent English, with the ability to participate in weekly meetings and prepare reports for the U.S. headquarters.
• Prior experience in the financial area at a mid-level (intermediate) analyst position.
• Solid knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, P&L (Income Statement), and cash flow management.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and office productivity tools.
• Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Totvs, Protheus, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical skills, organization, and high attention to detail.
• Proactive mindset, strong sense of prioritization, and ability to manage multiple competing demands.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
