Booking.com Brasil Servicos de Reservas de Hoteis Ltda (Brazil) is seeking a full-time Finance Operations Specialist for Accounts Receivable, for our office in São Paulo.

The Finance Operations Specialist for Accounts Receivables effectively completes all receivable processes. The scope of the position has to manage local billing process, file exchange process (bank x SAP), payments to properties (PBB-Payments by Booking), payment service providers or collections with accuracy and within a timely manner. It includes Analysis and reconciliation of G/L accounts.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Process local billing, including Nota Fiscal generation on the municipality website, and its reconciliation with Billing/SAP system

• Monitor payment method creation (Boleto, PIX, etc) through file exchange process (bank x SAP)

• Processing CNAB return file (collection) and make sure all the receivables were cleared timely

• Reconcile transactions with accuracy and in a timely manner, assist with the month end closing processes

• Prepare all reconciliations in accordance with US GAAP and covering the Sox framework

• Proactively work with key stakeholders to ensure alignment on processes and share knowledge and best practice

• Identify and follow-up on process opportunities directly impacting daily activities within the team

• Support with team projects for process innovation and improvement, actively test and implement new tools and software

• Proactively maintain and develop technical knowledge in order to execute tasks effectively

• Able to follow detailed procedures and instructions

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor degree in Finance (or studying in the field)

• Strong computer skills

• 2-3 year of relevant experience (in AR, Collections or Treasury)

• Experience working with integrated systems (SAP)

• Language: English written and verbal / Portuguese written and verbal

• Solution oriented and results driven

• Strong work ethic; self-directed and resourceful

• Proactive, flexible and capable of working independently as well as working in a team

• Ability to prioritize own workload and efficiently manage their time

• Strong Interpersonal skills

• Currently authorized to work in Brazil

• You are required to live within a commutable distance from your assigned office location
