Position Overview

The Field Service Technician will be part of the Service Resident team, providing technical service at a dedicated customer site within the IVD laboratory. The role involves executing service tickets related to all Point of View (POV) demands, following governance standards with excellence.

This position is based in Minas Gerais and offers remote work flexibility. The technician reports to the Tech Service Leader and supports troubleshooting, installation, validation, preventive maintenance, and repairs of Beckman Coulter equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete troubleshooting, installation, validation, preventive maintenance, modifications, and repairs on Beckman Coulter equipment, providing excellent customer service and technical training.
• Maintain accurate service logs, order parts, and adhere to cycle times using systems like ServiceMax, SharePoint, and KPI tools.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, fostering collaboration and assisting in training new Field Service Engineers.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical field such as biomedical, instrumentation, electrical engineering, or related area.
• At least 1 year of experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotic, electronic equipment, or instrumentation.
• Strong communication skills and report generation abilities.
• Ownership of Install Base management.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record over the past three years.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of advanced troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to develop positive customer relationships.
• Proficiency in English at an advanced user level.
