A leading agricultural technology firm is seeking a Field Application Engineer in Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Engineering, or Computer Science, along with at least 2 years of relevant experience. The role involves hands-on support, troubleshooting of electro-mechanical systems, and travel to provide in-field assistance. Strong communication skills in English and Portuguese are required. What you will work on

Perform hands-on set-up, maintenance, testing, and customization in the field
Perform hardware, software, and machine vision field tests of farm machinery
Provide in-field engineering support, including diagnosing and troubleshooting
Provide detailed documentation of testing execution and results
Provide high-quality data collection
Help create product documentation, instructions, and guides
Track and manage recurring issues, from problem identification to resolution
Suggest design alternatives and support the development of new features and tools
Transport and operate field test-related equipment as needed

Additional information

You'll have to travel around Mato Grosso and Goiás, Brazil
You'll need to have a valid Brazilian driver's license (type B)
Tools, equipment, and vehicles are provided by the company

While performing the duties of this job, the professional is regularly required to communicate verbally, including listening and speaking.
This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing, often outdoors in cold and hot ambient weather conditions.
The professional must frequently lift and/or move items over 25 pounds (~ 11 kg) and occasionally lift and/or move items over 50 (~ 22 kg) pounds.
