A leading IT services firm in Brazil is seeking a Mid-Senior Data Engineer. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining data architectures, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring data reliability and quality. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a related field and strong proficiency in Azure services, particularly T-SQL and Data Factory. This position offers remote work options and a variety of perks, including private medical insurance.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
• Strong proficiency in Transact-SQL (T-SQL).
• Experience with data storage solutions in Azure.
• Knowledge of serverless architecture for data processing.
• Solid experience with Azure Data Factory and Logic Apps.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, construct, test, and maintain architectures and datasets.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, project managers, and data architects.
• Perform data explorations to know the data to be processed.
• Identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency and quality.
• Deliver aggregated data to business executives and analysts.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, related fields, or equivalent experience.
• Strong proficiency in Transact-SQL (T-SQL), query optimization, and performance tuning in SQL Server.
• Experience with data storage solutions in Azure (Blob Storage, Data Lake, Azure SQL).
• Knowledge of serverless architecture for data processing (e.g., Azure Functions, Event Grid).
• Solid experience with Azure Data Factory and Logic Apps for data integration and automation.
• Familiarity with Databricks for scalable data engineering.
• Familiarity with data streaming architectures in Azure (Event Hubs, Stream Analytics).
• Experience in data warehousing solutions and dimensional modeling using Azure Synapse or similar.
• Understanding of CI/CD principles and version control for data pipelines.
• English Full Professional Proficiency.

You will be accountable for the following responsibilities:

• Develop, construct, test and maintain architectures and datasets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.
• Coordinate the development with stakeholders, project managers, data architects, data analysts and others.
• Perform data explorations to know the data to be processed.
• Identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency and quality.
• Deliver aggregated data to business executives, analysts and end users so they can analyze it and apply the results to improving business operations.
• Prepare data for predictive and prescriptive modeling.

Qualifications

Strong proficiency in Azure services.
