Sylvanvale Limited is seeking dedicated Support Workers to help clients achieve personal goals through tailored activities at home and in the community. You will support clients with personal care, meal planning, household tasks, medication administration, and engagement activities, empowering independence and inclusion.

These roles are part-time or casual, with the flexibility to fit around your life. A NSW driver's licence, current First Aid, and work rights are required, with training

Responsabilidades

• Read and understand client plans to provide best-practice support.
• Work toward client goals to increase capacity.
• Provide full personal care, bowel care, and hygiene.
• Perform manual handling tasks.
• Plan and prepare meals, cook, and clean.
• Administer medications.
• Assist clients to access their local community.
• Engage clients with daily, creative activities.

About The Role

Part time and Casual opportunities.

You will play a crucial role in providing tailored support,empowering clients to achieve their personal goals throughmeaningful activities both at home and within the community. Yourability to approach each situation with understanding andadaptability will make a lasting impact on the lives of those yousupport.

Your role will include:

• Reading and understanding client plans to provide bestpractice support.
• Implementing and working towards client goals to increaseand improve their capacity.
• Supporting clients with full personal care, bowel care andhygiene.
• Manual handling tasks.
• Performing household tasks including menu planning,cooking, and cleaning.
• Medication Administration.
• Supporting clients to access and be a part of their localcommunity.
• Being creative to engage clients at every part of the dayand seeking opportunities to do so.

About you

• Ability to work as part of a team and well asindividually.
• Willingness to support clients with full personal care,cooking and cleaning.
• Comfortable with driving the equivalent of an 8 seatervan.
• Ability to think outside the box and adapt tasks to engageclients.
• Clear and concise verbal and written communicationskills.
• Strong ability to use technology and have access to a smartphone.
• You have full Australian work rights.
