BlueCare is seeking a Chef for the Carbrook Aged Care Facility to join a dedicated team and deliver quality meals to residents. The role emphasizes safe food handling, adherence to dietary requirements, and collaboration with senior staff on menu design.

Ideal candidates will have a trade qualification and at least 3 years of experience, with strong communication and attention to detail, plus knowledge of Australian food standards and probity checks.

Qualificações

Role Requirements

As a Chef, you’ll take pride in your presentation, be knowledgeable in relation to nutrition and have a keen interest on the impact of dietary requirements on our aged residents.

You Will Have Proven Experience In Safe Food Preparation, Storage And Delivery, a Clear Understanding Of WHS, Be Confident In Medium-high Volume Meal Preparation And Demonstrate The Following

  • Hold a relevant trade qualification, eg. Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (Australia) or above
  • Have 3 years minimum experience as a qualified Chef
  • Great communication skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Understanding of Australian food and beverage standards
  • Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies
