iTRTech Group in Brazil is seeking a Senior PeopleSoft DBA to lead the administration, maintenance, and optimization of PeopleSoft environments and Oracle databases, with hybrid or remote work options.

You will help ensure performance, security, availability, and resilience while contributing to upgrades, disaster recovery, automation, and continuous improvement, and you will mentor junior DBAs and collaborate with developers and analysts.

Qualificações

• Solid experience administering PeopleSoft databases and environments.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database, SQL, PL/SQL, and RMAN.
• Hands-on with PeopleTools 8.5x or 8.6x; familiarity with Application Designer, Data Mover, Change Assistant.
• Experience with Linux/Unix and Shell scripting.

Responsabilidades

About The Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior PeopleSoft Database Administrator to lead the administration, maintenance, and optimisation of business-critical PeopleSoft environments.

You will help ensure platform performance, security, availability, and resilience while contributing to upgrades, automation, disaster recovery, and continuous improvement. The position also offers the opportunity to mentor junior professionals and collaborate with developers, functional analysts, and infrastructure teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and optimise PeopleSoft environments and Oracle databases;
• Install, configure, and support PeopleSoft servers, WebLogic, Tuxedo, and Process Scheduler components;
• Perform PeopleSoft Update Manager updates and PeopleTools upgrades;
• Plan and execute Oracle patching and database upgrades;
• Conduct advanced performance tuning across Oracle databases and PeopleSoft applications;
• Implement and maintain backup and recovery strategies using Oracle RMAN;
• Support security controls and Single Sign-On integrations;
• Design, test, and maintain disaster recovery plans using Oracle Data Guard;
• Develop automation scripts using Shell, Python, or PowerShell;
• Support PeopleSoft migrations and version-control processes;
• Troubleshoot complex database, application, and infrastructure issues;
• Collaborate with developers, functional analysts, and multidisciplinary technology teams;
• Mentor junior DBAs and promote technical knowledge sharing;
• Maintain operational procedures and technical documentation.

Essential Requirements

• Solid professional experience administering PeopleSoft databases and environments;
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database, SQL, PL/SQL, and RMAN;
• Hands-on experience with PeopleTools 8.5x or 8.6x;
• Familiarity with PeopleTools components such as Application Designer, Data Mover, and Change Assistant;
• Experience working with Linux or Unix environments and Shell scripting;
• Knowledge of PeopleSoft installation, configuration, maintenance, patching, or upgrades;
• Experience with Oracle WebLogic, Tuxedo, or PeopleSoft Process Scheduler;
