iTRTech Group is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and optimize cloud-based data solutions in a high-volume environment. You will build reliable data pipelines, integrate data from multiple sources, and ensure trusted data is available for analytics on AWS.

The role offers remote or hybrid work within Brazil, with collaboration across Product Owners and technical teams to translate business needs into scalable, robust data platforms.

About The Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to develop and optimise cloud-based data solutions in a complex, high-volume corporate environment.

You will build reliable data pipelines, integrate information from multiple sources, and help ensure that trusted data is available for analytical and operational use. Working closely with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and technical teams, you will turn business needs into scalable solutions on AWS.

This is an excellent opportunity for a data professional who enjoys hands-on engineering, cloud architecture, production troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data pipelines using AWS Glue, Amazon Athena, and Amazon S3;
• Design and implement ETL and data-integration processes across corporate systems;
• Consolidate data from multiple sources into centralised, scalable environments;
• Write advanced SQL queries for data transformation, modelling, and analysis;
• Improve data quality, performance, reliability, and governance;
• Support the migration and modernisation of data platforms on AWS;
• Contribute to the evolution of cloud data architectures and analytical platforms;
• Monitor production environments, identify bottlenecks, and resolve incidents;
• Collaborate with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and technical teams;
• Support Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, and Data Platform initiatives;
• Contribute to reporting, dashboard, and analytical solutions when required;
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Requirements

• Solid professional experience in Data Engineering;
• Hands-on experience with AWS data services, particularly AWS Glue, Amazon Athena, and Amazon S3;
• Strong knowledge of SQL;
• Experience building and maintaining ETL or data pipelines;
• Good understanding of data modelling and data integration;
• Experience consolidating data from multiple sources;
• Familiarity with cloud data architecture and analytical platforms;
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in production environments;
• Fluent English;
• Good communication skills for working with technical and business stakeholders;
• Experience working with Agile methodologies;
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

These qualifications are valuable but not mandatory:

• AWS Certified Data Engineer certification;
• AWS Solutions Architect or AWS Data Analytics certification;
• Experience with Alteryx;
• Experience migrating data platforms to AWS;
• Knowledge of dashboards or data visualisation tools;
• Professional experience in Financial Services;
• Exposure to Wealth Management or Asset Management environments.
