Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned BI Lead to guide the data team and align projects with strategic priorities. You will own end-to-end delivery, from requirements to publication, and mentor team members to elevate technical and behavioral growth.

In this role you will drive data governance, ensure quality, and partner with business areas to build robust data products using Tableau, Power BI and Databricks, while promoting efficient processes and clear communication.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in Business Administration, Systems Analysis and Development, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Knowledge of Tableau/Power BI
• Advanced proficiency in Databricks
• Strong people management skills
• Basic knowledge of Data Science
• Knowledge of SQL
• Previous leadership roles for Data/BI teams is a plus
• Experience connecting data projects to strategic business objectives is a plus

Responsabilidades

• Lead the BI team on a day-to-day basis, promoting alignment, monitoring, and ongoing prioritization of deliverables and projects
• Develop new Data projects in partnership with business areas, from requirements gathering through process documentation
• Plan and distribute activities among internal team members and third-party partners, ensuring cadence, productivity, and a focus on efficiency
• Coordinate and develop the team through one-on-one check-ins, feedback sessions, and support for technical and behavioral growth
• Participate in forums with managers, executive managers, and directors to connect BI projects with the company’s strategic priorities
• Serve as the team’s technical reference, supporting the resolution of complex problems and guiding technical decisions
• Gather, structure, and prioritize the annual Data roadmap based on stakeholder input
• Ensure end-to-end project delivery, from requirements gathering through solution publication and adoption
• Safeguard data governance and quality by defining usage rules, standardizing metrics, and promoting best practices in modeling and visualization
