Jobtailor in São Paulo, Brazil is seeking a senior data analyst to collect, model, and analyze data for strategic decision support. You will build and maintain the analytics layer, design dimensional models, and develop dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.

You will craft complex SQL queries, collaborate with data engineers, and mentor junior analysts while communicating insights to executives and diverse stakeholders.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data analysis.
• Advanced SQL skills (CTEs, window functions, query optimization).
• Proficiency in at least one BI tool (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker).
• Experience with Python or R for analysis and automation.
• Knowledge of dimensional modeling (star schema, snowflake schema).
• Experience with cloud data warehouses (BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake, Databricks).
• Ability to tell compelling stories with data and communicate with executives.
• Knowledge of dbt for data transformations.
• Experience with data governance (cataloging, lineage, data quality).
• BI or cloud analytics certifications
• Familiarity with advanced statistics and machine learning
• Experience in data consulting
