The Work You’ll Do

The Corporate Account Executive is responsible for working with new clients to sell company products and to close long-term contracts. This role will be responsible for the sales process from BRFC to Close, while leveraging resources effectively throughout the sales cycle on strategic deals, whiling articulating the value propositions of Sovos’ products and services. This role will work with various departments throughout the company with an emphasis on Sales, Legal and Finance. Additional responsibilities include contract negotiations, updating sales force automation and all other aspects of the prospecting and sales renewals sales process.

What are my responsibilities going to be, more specifically?

  • Prospect within assigned territory to create leads for new client sales by growing pipeline opportunities
  • Sell and promote trust, biometric and SaaS solutions to new accounts
  • Develop and execute strategic opportunity plans that ensures quota attainment
  • Act with integrity and demonstrate ethical behavior in all matters with all stakeholders
  • Take full responsibility for ensuring internal and external client satisfaction
  • Work with sales and marketing team to share new ideas and new business development strategies
  • Leverages multiple communication methods
  • Skilled at time management and prioritization
  • Effective at territory planning and execution
  • Efficient at asking questions to understand needs and uncover opportunities
  • Acts as a role model and mentor across organization sharing best practices and messaging etc.
  • Shows willingness to learn from other sales roles, internal business partners, and client experiences

What We Need From You

  • Ideally located in São Paulo
  • English proficency
  • Minimum 2 to 4 years’ experience as Account Executive role, quota-carrying sales role or similar; software solution sales preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Experience selling trust, biometric and/or SaaS based or outsourced services
  • Demonstrated success selling large enterprise and SME type opportunities with ability to navigate and manage complex sales cycles and relate and sell to Senior Executives
  • Demonstrated proven targeting, prospecting, and closing skills while achieving or exceeding revenue quotas
  • Experience with contact management systems, preferably Salesforce.com and proficiency in MS office suite of tools
  • Ability to listen and communicate effectively over the phone and follows verbal and written instructions carefully
  • Is self-motivated and a team player with a drive to exceed targets
  • Moderate travel is required for client meetings, trade shows, Sovos events, and special projects
