An established industry player is seeking a Fleet Underwriter to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring timely responses to broker queries and fostering strong relationships with brokers and insurers. While commercial underwriting experience is not mandatory, candidates should possess at least one year of personal lines experience and be proactive in their approach. Fleet Underwriter
The purpose of the role is work in partnership with the underwriters to respond to our Brokers queries in a timely and efficient manner
Candidate should have commercial awareness, negotiation skills and an ability to build durable Broker/Insurer relationships.
Commercial underwriting experience is not a requirement as we will provide training however, we would require the candidate to have a minimum of one-year personal lines experience
Candidate should have APA status and be working towards CIP
The Role
• Administration of policies both for midterm alterations and renewals
• Follow up on diary items with Brokers and Underwriters
• Responding to emails and queries from brokers/underwriters within service level agreements
• Responding to phone queries from brokers/underwriters in a confident, friendly, and professional manner
• Investigate and solve accounts queries
• Process Policies, Schedules and Endorsements on both Underwriting and Broker Systems, creation / issuing relevant documentation.
