Job summary

Global Loan Agency Services (GLAS) is seeking a Client Services Associate (Accounting) to support trust and fund administration activities in Singapore. You will prepare investor reports, financial statements, NAV calculations, and reconciliations for various investment structures.

The candidate should have a diploma/degree in accounting or finance and at least two years in fund or corporate accounting, with knowledge of SFRS.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• 2 years' experience in fund or corporate accounting roles.
• Strong understanding of SFRS and Singapore statutory requirements.
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation and control mindset.
• Collaborative, organised and able to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Handle trust and fund administration including production of investor reports, financial statements, NAV calculations, monthly and quarterly reconciliations.
• Prepare management accounts and statutory financial statements of SPVs within trust structures.
• Prepare and submit tax returns to IRAS, including quarterly GST and annual corporate tax returns.
• Prepare and review XBRL financial statements.
• Be involved in new client onboarding including coordination of opening of new bank accounts, drafting fund agreements, and conducting investor and fund KYC.
• Prepare capital account statements, capital call and distribution notices, waterfall and equalisation calculations and fund performance indicators.
• Assist in client service matters, maintain and build client relationships.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure timely completion of regulatory filings.
• Work consultatively with team members on ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

About the role

The Client Services Associate (Accounting) is responsible for the accounting and administration of trusts and funds focused on investments in private equity, venture capital, digital assets and other alternative assets. This role involves handling and supporting the trust and fund administration service line, including production of investor reports, financial statements, NAV calculations, and reconciliations.

Key responsibilities
