As a key member of our International Sales team, you will drive ORBCOMM’s growth and market presence in Brazil by identifying new opportunities, cultivating strategic partnerships, and implementing innovative solutions to expand our customer base. This role focuses on business expansion through both direct sales and indirect channels, contributing to the overall growth of ORBCOMM’s product lines in the region.

You will be collaborating with a talented global and local team, while also enjoying the autonomy and comfort of remote work.

What You’ll Do:

  1. Develop and execute strategic business plans to identify and capitalize on new sales opportunities in Brazil.
  2. Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and customers to drive long-term growth.
  3. Identify, approach, and convert leads into customers, managing the entire sales cycle, including negotiations and contract management.
  4. Represent ORBCOMM at industry events, trade shows, and other forums to promote the brand and its solutions in the LATAM market.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the telematics product portfolio and ensure certification processes align with market needs.
  6. Conduct market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning, providing actionable insights to leadership.
  7. Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline, focusing on upselling, cross-selling, and long-term business development.
  8. Organize and deliver corporate presentations, proposals, and training sessions for customers and partners.
  9. Collaborate with the marketing team to design and implement campaigns that strengthen ORBCOMM’s brand awareness.
  10. Ensure all activities align with ORBCOMM’s overarching business development goals and strategic priorities.
  11. Travel Requirements: Be prepared for frequent travel (estimated at up to 70%) to customer sites, industry events, and ORBCOMM offices as needed to support.

Who You Are:

You’re a strategic thinker with a knack for operational excellence, ready to tackle multiple priorities with agility and grace. If you have:

  1. A bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within telecommunications, technology, SaaS, IoT solutions, or related industries.
  3. Experience in telecommunications, technology, or information industries, and/or transport management or ERP solutions.
  4. Knowledge of transportation and logistics markets, cold-chain logistics, and/or ORBCOMM’s product and service offerings.
  5. Proven ability to identify opportunities, drive business growth, and close complex deals.
  6. Demonstrated ability to work in a multicultural, dynamic environment with cross-functional teams.
  7. Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  8. Self-motivated with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain a flexible, results-driven mindset.
  9. Fluency in English; additional languages, such as Spanish, are a strong advantage.
  10. Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time.
