HOCK HAI CIVIL ENGINEERING & BUILDING PTE LTD is seeking a Site Supervisor to lead daily construction activities on site. You will coordinate resources, manage site operations, and resolve issues to ensure safety, quality, and timely completion.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, ability to read drawings, and a valid Singapore Class 3 driving license. You will supervise site teams and liaise with consultants, clients, and subcontractors to meet project goals.

Qualificações

• Diploma, Nitec, NCCS or equivalent in Building & Construction.
• 3–5 years in building/civil works or Design & Build projects.
• Ability to read and interpret structural, architectural, and construction drawings accurately.
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
• Valid Singapore Class 3 Driving License.

Job Summary

Lead and supervise daily construction site activities to ensure safety, quality, and timely completion. Collaborate with project teams to coordinate resources, manage site operations, and resolve issues effectively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise daily construction activities to ensure safety, efficiency, and adherence to project schedules
• Assist Project Manager/Site Manager in planning, coordinating, and monitoring site operations to meet project goals
• Lead and manage site supervisors, workers, subcontractors, and trades to achieve project objectives
• Coordinate work sequences, manpower allocation, machinery, and site resources to maximize productivity
• Monitor work progress and ensure compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, quality standards, and statutory requirements
• Enforce workplace safety regulations by conducting regular site inspections and ensuring compliance with WSH requirements
• Identify, resolve, and report construction issues, technical problems, and site constraints promptly to maintain workflow
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and authorities to address site matters and ensure smooth operations
• Inspect and verify construction materials delivered to site for compliance with approved specifications
• Plan and procure construction materials, equipment, and resources to prevent work delays
• Maintain proper site housekeeping, security, and environmental control throughout the project duration
• Conduct toolbox meetings and provide guidance to workers on safe work practices to promote a safety culture
• Maintain daily site records including work progress reports, manpower deployment, material usage, and inspection logs
• Review and interpret structural, architectural, and M&E drawings, specifications, and method statements before execution
• Ensure works are completed on time, within quality standards, and in accordance with contract requirements
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Project Manager or Management

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma, Nitec, NCCS, or equivalent qualification in Building & Construction, Civil Engineering, or related discipline
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in A&A, R&R, General Building Works, Civil Works, or Design & Build projects
• Ability to read and interpret structural, architectural, and construction drawings accurately
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and organizational skills to manage site teams effectively
• Valid Singapore Class 3 Driving License (essential for site mobility and coordination)

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Familiarity with Singapore construction regulations and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements
• Ownership of a vehicle (advantageous for site transportation and logistics)
