The Feed Media is seeking an exceptionally organized Accounting Operations & Bookkeeping Specialist to own day-to-day financial operations in Manaus, ensuring accurate client invoicing, timely collections, and proper vendor payments. The role is hands-on, with responsibility to keep books current and reconciled.

Key duties include AR tracking, monthly close support, basic financial reporting, and maintaining QuickBooks Online with clear documentation of terms.

We're looking for an exceptionally organized Accounting Operations & Bookkeeping Specialist to take ownership of our day-to-day financial operations. This is a hands-on role. You'll be responsible for making sure our clients are invoiced correctly, money owed to us is collected, vendors are paid appropriately, and our books remain accurate and up to date.

Accounts Receivable

• Prepare and send client invoices accurately and on time
• Calculate variable client fees based on advertising spend and contract terms
• Track all outstanding invoices and maintain an accurate AR aging report
• Follow up professionally and persistently on overdue payments
• Apply incoming payments to the correct invoices
• Identify discrepancies and resolve them quickly
• Maintain clear documentation of client billing terms
• Maintain accurate books in QuickBooks Online
• Categorize transactions and maintain the chart of accounts
• Reconcile bank accounts and credit cards
• Reconcile AR and AP balances
• Record payments, expenses and other transactions accurately
• Help execute the monthly close
• Produce basic monthly financial reports
• Keep the books organized and ready for review by our accountant/CPA

Finance Operations

• Maintain financial trackers and reporting
• Work across our banking, billing, payment and contract systems
• Investigate discrepancies rather than simply passing them along
• Improve financial processes and documentation as the company grows

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• 3+ years of experience in related field
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and QuickBooks
