Infosys Brasil is seeking a Data Engineer to join our team in São Paulo. The candidate will monitor and resolve data pipeline issues, build and maintain batch and streaming jobs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

You will work with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Python, Spark, and Snowflake, ensure data quality, and contribute to continuous improvement of our data platforms in a fast-paced environment.

Qualificações

• 7+ years (5+ for Sr.DE) of experience designing, supporting and developing batch and streaming pipelines on Azure.
• Proficiency in Python; advanced Spark experience; Snowflake expertise.
• Strong ETL/ELT design and maintenance with Databricks and Azure Data Factory.
• Git-based version control experience and code review workflows.
• Excellent English communication and knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Snowflake certifications are a plus.

• Work extensively with Azure Cloud Services, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Python, and Spark, Snowflake including handling issues and remediation of jobs or pipelines.

Required Qualifications:

7+ years (5+ years of experience for Sr.DE) of experience in pipeline design, support and development (Batch and Streaming) using Azure cloud services, Snowflake
Proficiency in Python, Snowflake: Advanced/expert-level proven experience in Python and Spark.
Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes: Proven experience designing and maintaining ETL processes in Databricks and Azure Data Factory, including connectivity with third party systems/APIs, Event Hubs, and other potential data sources.
Experience with Azure Cloud Services: Demonstrated knowledge of cloud platforms—specifically Azure—including storage, security, and resource optimization.
Focus on system maintenance: Strong emphasis on proactive detection and fast reactive maintenance of running jobs and pipelines.
Experience working with Git-based version control (e.g., GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket) and familiarity with branching strategies, pull requests, and code review workflows.
Excellent assertive communication with users and stakeholders in English.
Understanding of Agile methodologies.
Snowflake certifications will be an added advantage
