Job summary

FUJI SMBE TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Project Coordinator to lead end-to-end LV switchboard projects, coordinating with clients and cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery and budget compliance.

You will review specifications, drawings and regulatory requirements (EMA, SS 638, IEC 61439), prepare SLDs and GA drawings, support FAT/SAT, and maintain rigorous documentation and safety standards across projects.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Familiarity with Singapore standards (SS 638, IEC 61439) is advantageous.
• Experience with Licensed Electrical Workers (LEW) and local authority approvals is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end LV switchboard projects from order handover to delivery, testing, and handover.
• Review specifications, drawings and client requirements to meet Singapore standards.
• Coordinate with design, production, procurement and QA/QC to ensure timely delivery.
• Prepare engineering deliverables: SLDs, GA drawings, wiring schematics, and submissions.
• Ensure IEC 61439 compliance and local authority requirements.
• Liaise with clients, LEWs and main contractors to resolve issues.
• Support FAT, SAT and site inspections with proper documentation.
• Monitor progress: schedule, cost, quality; highlight risks and mitigation.
• Maintain workplace safety in line with WSH.
• Prepare project documentation including ITPs, method statements, and O&M manuals.
• Provide technical support during installation, testing and commissioning.

Job Summary

You will lead project coordination and supervision efforts to ensure timely delivery and budget compliance of electrical engineering projects. Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to uphold quality standards and technical specifications, driving successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end execution of LV switchboard projects, from order handover to delivery, testing, and handover


• Review project specifications, drawings, and client requirements to ensure compliance with Singapore standards and regulatory requirements (e.g. EMA, SS standards such as SS 638, IEC 61439)


• Coordinate closely with design, production, procurement, and QA/QC teams to ensure timely and compliant project delivery


• Prepare and review engineering deliverables including Single Line Diagrams (SLD), General Arrangement (GA) drawings, wiring schematics, and technical submissions


• Ensure all switchboards are designed, manufactured, and tested in accordance with IEC 61439 type-tested assemblies and local authority requirements


• Liaise with clients, consultants, Licensed Electrical Workers (LEW), and main contractors to resolve technical issues and ensure alignment with project specifications


• Support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and site inspections, ensuring proper documentation and compliance


• Monitor project progress including schedule, cost, and quality; highlight risks and implement mitigation measures


• Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and regulations (e.g. WSH requirements) during project execution


• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including methodstatements, inspection test plans (ITP), O&M manuals, and as-built drawings


• Provide technical support during installation, testing, andcommissioning phases

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent


• Familiarity with Singapore standards and regulations will be advantageous, including:


• SS 638 (maintenance of electrical equipment)


• IEC 61439 (LV switchboard design and verification)


• EMA regulatory requirements and submission processes


• Experience working with Licensed Electrical Workers (LEW) andunderstanding of local authority approvals is an advantage


• Strong understanding of LV distribution systems, protectionschemes, and switchboard components (ACB, MCCB, busbar systems, etc.)


• Good project coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills


• Strong problem-solving, time management, and organizational abilities


• Able to work independently and in a fast-paced project environment
