Sing Yiet Civil Engineering Contractor Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a proactive Civil Engineer to assist the Project Manager with planning and daily site activities. You will coordinate with engineers, site supervisors, subcontractors and clients to ensure smooth project execution.

Responsibilities include monitoring site progress, reviewing drawings, and helping manage sewerage, drainage or underground works while ensuring safety and quality standards are met on schedule.

Qualificações

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline recognised by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB), Singapore.
• Relevant experience in civil engineering or construction projects is preferred.
• Experience in sewerage, drainage or underground works will be an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Project Manager in planning and managing daily project activities.
• Coordinate with engineers, site supervisors, subcontractors, consultants and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor site progress and ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and project schedule.
• Assist in managing sewerage and civil engineering works, including sewer pipe laying, manhole construction, excavation, backfilling and reinstatement.
• Review and understand construction drawings and assist in resolving site and technical issues.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work progress and quality.
• Assist in coordinating manpower, materials, equipment and subcontractors.
• Assist in preparing project reports, site records, method statements and other project documents.
• Ensure works comply with relevant safety, quality and project requirements.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate with clients, consultants and relevant parties.
• Assist the Project Manager in completing projects safely, on time and according to project requirements.
