Sunray Woodcraft Construction Pte Ltd is seeking a capable M&E coordination/project engineer to drive planning, scheduling, and on-site MEP integration on our construction projects in Brazil.
The role requires coordinating with consultants, contractors, and internal teams, reviewing drawings, supporting procurement, and ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across all phases.
Assist in planning and scheduling of M&E works according to project timelines.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to resolve technical issues.
Review and verify M&E drawings, specifications, and shop drawings for accuracy and constructability.
Support procurement of materials and equipment as per project requirements.
Supervise on-site M&E installation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
Conduct site inspections, testing & commissioning (T&C), and system integration checks.
Track and report project progress, including delays, deviations, or risks.
Ensure adherence to safety standards, quality requirements, and regulatory compliance.
Prepare and review method statements, risk assessments, and technical submissions.
Work closely with QA/QC teams to maintain quality control on M&E works.
Verify coordination drawings, as-built drawings, and documentation.
Assist in progress claims, variation orders, and project reports.
Maintain communication with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
Participate in project meetings and document meeting minutes and follow-up actions.
Coordinate with internal departments (Civil, Architectural, Procurement, QS) for smooth M&E integration.
Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum 2–4 years of experience in M&E coordination or project engineering within the construction industry.
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, building services, and construction practices.
Familiarity with local codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., BCA, PUB, SCDF, NEA).
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and Microsoft Office.
