Job summary

AgileEngine is hiring for a remote mobile QA automation role. You will automate our regression suite and build tests for iOS and Android, emphasizing automation over manual testing and ensuring coverage of critical functionalities.

Must have 2+ years in mobile test automation, Kotlin experience, and familiarity with Firebase/Test Lab, UiAutomator, and Robolectric. Working hours 9am–1pm EST.

What you will do

• Automate our existing regression testing suite that currently lives in Test Rails (~150 manual tests). Once that is complete, the next objective will be to expand the automated tests to improve coverage;
• Build and maintain automated tests for current features across iOS and Android platforms, with a focus on ensuring they replace manual regression tests and cover critical functionalities;
• Prioritize automated testing tasks, excluding responsibilities related to new feature development.

Must haves

• 2+ years of experience with mobile test automation, ideally using Kotlin ;
• Working experience in Firebase & Test Lab (ideally);
• Familiar with UiAutomator, Robolectric for Android;
• Mandatory working hours 9 am - 1 pm EST.
