AgileEngine, LLC. is hiring for a mobile test automation engineer to expand our automated suite and replace manual regression tests across iOS and Android. This remote role welcomes candidates from across the country and centers on accelerating coverage and reliability.

You will prioritize automation tasks while working with Firebase Test Lab, UiAutomator, and Robolectric, aligning with EST working hours (9:00–13:00). The company offers competitive USD-based compensation and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mobile test automation experience, preferably with Kotlin.
• Experience with Firebase and Test Lab is a plus.
• Familiar with UiAutomator and Robolectric for Android.
• Must be available for 9 am–1 pm EST.

Responsibilities

• Automate the existing regression testing suite in TestRails (~150 manual tests). Next, expand automated tests to improve coverage.
• Build and maintain automated tests for current features across iOS and Android platforms, focusing on replacing manual regression tests and covering critical functionalities.
• Prioritize automated testing tasks, excluding responsibilities related to new feature development.

What you will do

• Automate our existing regression testing suite that currently lives in Test Rails (~150 manual tests). Once that is complete, the next objective will be to expand the automated tests to improve coverage;
• Build and maintain automated tests for current features across iOS and Android platforms, with a focus on ensuring they replace manual regression tests and cover critical functionalities;
• Prioritize automated testing tasks, excluding responsibilities related to new feature development.

Must haves

• 2+ years of experience with mobile test automation, ideally using Kotlin ;
• Working experience in Firebase & Test Lab (ideally);
• Familiar with UiAutomator, Robolectric for Android;
• Mandatory working hours 9 am - 1 pm EST.
