Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC is seeking a remote mobile test automation engineer to automate the current regression suite and expand test coverage for iOS and Android. You will focus on replacing manual tests with automated ones and prioritize testing tasks over new features.

Must have 2+ years in mobile automation, Kotlin experience, and familiarity with Firebase, Test Lab, UiAutomator, and Robolectric. Working hours are 9 am–1 pm EST, with USD-based compensation and growth opportunities.

What you will do

Automate our existing regression testing suite that currently lives in Test Rails (~150 manual tests). Once that is complete, the next objective will be to expand the automated tests to improve coverage;

Build and maintain automated tests for current features across iOS and Android platforms, with a focus on ensuring they replace manual regression tests and cover critical functionalities;

Prioritize automated testing tasks, excluding responsibilities related to new feature development.

Must haves

2+ years of experience with mobile test automation, ideally using Kotlin ;

Working experience in Firebase & Test Lab (ideally);

Familiar with UiAutomator, Robolectric for Android;

Mandatory working hours 9 am – 1 pm EST.
