Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a remote QA automation engineer to expand automated mobile tests for iOS and Android.

You will reduce reliance on manual regression by evolving our test suite, starting with ~150 tests in Test Rails and extending coverage across platforms. The role emphasizes Kotlin-based automation, Firebase/Test Lab familiarity, and Android tools like UiAutomator and Robolectric, with a fixed EST window (9am–1pm).

• Working experience in Firebase & Test Lab (ideally).
• Familiar with UiAutomator, Robolectric for Android.
• Mandatory working hours 9 am – 1 pm EST.

What you will do

Automate our existing regression testing suite that currently lives in Test Rails (~150 manual tests). Once that is complete, the next objective will be to expand the automated tests to improve coverage;

Build and maintain automated tests for current features across iOS and Android platforms, with a focus on ensuring they replace manual regression tests and cover critical functionalities;

Prioritize automated testing tasks, excluding responsibilities related to new feature development.

Must haves

2+ years of experience with mobile test automation, ideally using Kotlin ;

Working experience in Firebase & Test Lab (ideally);

Familiar with UiAutomator, Robolectric for Android;

Mandatory working hours 9 am – 1 pm EST.
