Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a mobile test automation engineer for a remote role across the US landscape, with working hours 9 am – 1 pm EST. You will automate existing regression tests in Test Rails, then extend coverage for iOS and Android, focusing on replacing manual tests.

You should have 2+ years in mobile test automation, preferably with Kotlin, and experience with Firebase/Test Lab, UiAutomator, and Robolectric. Flexible Flextime and USD-based compensation are offered.

What you will do

Automate our existing regression testing suite that currently lives in Test Rails (~150 manual tests). Once that is complete, the next objective will be to expand the automated tests to improve coverage;

Build and maintain automated tests for current features across iOS and Android platforms, with a focus on ensuring they replace manual regression tests and cover critical functionalities;

Prioritize automated testing tasks, excluding responsibilities related to new feature development.

Must haves

2+ years of experience with mobile test automation, ideally using Kotlin ;

Working experience in Firebase & Test Lab (ideally);

Familiar with UiAutomator, Robolectric for Android;

Mandatory working hours 9 am – 1 pm EST.
