ExxonMobil in Curitiba is seeking an experienced Application Support Specialist to join the EMIT Department at our Global Business Center. You will troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide support for third-party and internally developed applications across Cloud and On-Prem environments.

• Experience supporting on-prem Windows Server and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

• Ability to learn new technologies in Agile/Scrum teams.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshooting issues and performing root cause analysis.
• Gather requirements and implement configuration changes with internal customers.
• Continuously improve documentation and knowledge base.
• Provide application support and collaborate with vendors.
• Handle user-requested backlog items in priority order.
• Deploy and test API server; maintain CI/CD pipelines.

What Role You Will Play In Our Team

Join a global team dedicated to delivering exceptional application support and continuous improvement. You'll work with third-party applications, and internally developed applications across both Cloud and On-Premises environments, helping employees worldwide succeed in their day-to-day operations. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, conducting root cause analysis, and providing support via email, chat, and calls. Beyond support, you'll partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, implement enhancements, and contribute to exciting projects and technology initiatives that make a real business impact.

What You Will Do

• Troubleshooting issues and performing root cause analysis.
• Work with internal customers to gather requirements and implement configuration changes.
• Continuous improving documentation and maintain knowledge.
• Application support and collaboration with vendor.
• Work on user request prioritized backlog.
• API Server Deployment, Support and Tests.
• Maintain Pipelines (CI/CD)

About You

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong ownership, accountability, and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and results-driven mindset.
• Technical expertise in SQL databases (Procedures, Views, Functions), programming logic, and automation tools.
• Experience supporting and troubleshooting applications, including on-premises Windows Server environments and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills, with advanced English proficiency.
• Team-oriented professional who can quickly learn new technologies and business processes while working effectively in Agile/Scrum environments.

Nice to have Qualifications/Experience:

• Experience with modern development and DevOps tools, including PowerShell scripting, GitHub Repositories, and GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of software development technologies, including C#, .NET, API development, and the ability to understand and work with legacy Visual Basic code.
• Familiarity with monitoring, analytics, and reporting platforms, such as DataDog, Splunk, Tableau, SSRS, and SSIS.
• Front-end development experience with React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and enhance code across multiple technologies, including C#, Python, PowerShell, .NET, JavaScript, and Azure solutions.
• Degree in Chemical Engineering or relevant industry experience preferred
