Weichai Latam in Brazil invites applications for an Accounting Analyst to support daily accounting, financial reporting, tax management, and budget monitoring in our expanding Latin American operations.

The role requires at least three years in accounting/finance, a bachelor’s degree, strong Excel skills, and proficiency in Chinese for daily work communication; SAP/Oracle experience is preferred and you will work with cross-functional teams.

Responsabilidades

• Review documents and supporting records, perform daily accounting entries, manage the general ledger, and maintain key accounting controls and records.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports according to management requirements.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial operations analysis reports.
• Support internal and external audits with requested documents and reports.
• Coordinate tax-related matters with external tax advisors, monitoring filings and payments.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets, monitor execution and analyze variances.
• Perform other duties related to the position as assigned by management.

As China’s largest engine manufacturer, Weichai Group is seeking a responsible and qualified professional to join our team in Brazil as an Accounting Analyst.

With the continued expansion of the company’s operations in Brazil and Latin America, this professional will be responsible for daily accounting activities, financial reporting, tax management, and budget monitoring, providing financial support for the company’s operations and business development.

Key Responsibilities

• Review documents and supporting records, perform daily accounting entries, manage the general ledger, and maintain key accounting controls and records.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports according to the company’s different management requirements.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial operations analysis reports.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing and providing requested documents, reports, and other financial information.
• Coordinate tax-related matters with external tax advisors, monitoring tax filings, payments, and tax refund or offset processes within applicable deadlines.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial budgets, monitor budget execution, and prepare financial and budget variance analyses.
• Perform other duties related to the position as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of professional experience in accounting or finance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Financial Management, Finance, or a related field.
• Good communication skills in Chinese, with the ability to use the language for daily work communication.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and other office tools.
• Organized, responsible, and detail-oriented.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP, Oracle, NC, or other ERP systems.
• Accounting or finance experience in industrial equipment, diesel engines, generator sets, construction machinery, heavy equipment, or manufacturing industries.
