ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Manage daily cash receipt and payment activities, and support liaison and routine operations with local Brazilian banks.
- Independently operate Brazil’s electronic invoicing system and handle full‑cycle local invoicing procedures, including issuance, validation, cancellation and reversal of sales invoices and self‑issued import invoices, as well as complete document archiving.
- Perform daily accounting routines, journal voucher entry, fixed asset accounting and month‑end closing activities, ensuring financial data is authentic, accurate and fully compliant with BR GAAP (Brazilian Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Execute regular physical counts for fixed assets and inventory stock, identify discrepancies and abnormal issues, and drive follow‑up rectification and resolution.
- Handle the declaration, data reconciliation and ledger maintenance of core Brazilian taxes (ICMS, ISS, PIS/Cofins, IRPJ), keep abreast of local tax policy updates and mitigate financial and tax compliance risks.
- Collaborate with local Brazilian internal departments, suppliers and customers, and establish and standardize local financial management workflows and internal policies.
- Synchronize financial data with China headquarters, and support internal & external audits as well as official tax inspections.
REQUIREMENTS
- Majored in Finance, Accounting or related fields; 1–3 years of hands‑on accounting and tax experience in Brazilian local enterprises, familiar with the financial operation model of local SMEs or foreign‑invested subsidiaries in Brazil.
- Familiar with BR GAAP and basic IFRS requirements, with solid knowledge of Brazilian tax and accounting regulations; holding a valid Brazilian CRC certificate is highly preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, experience working with NetSuite or other mainstream ERP systems is preferred.
- Fluent in Portuguese (full professional proficiency in reading, writing and verbal communication, able to independently liaise with local tax bureaus and external institutions); basic Chinese or English competency is preferred for daily collaboration with the China headquarters finance team; strong interpersonal and cross‑functional coordination skills.
