The Naval Architect is responsible for the design, development, and analysis of marine vessels and structures. Key Responsibilities

• Design and analyze marine vessels, including hulls, structures, and systems, using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• Conduct stability, strength, and performance assessments to ensure designs meet safety and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
• Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and documentation for projects.
• Oversee the construction and testing of vessels, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
• Conduct research and development to innovate and improve existing designs and technologies.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and technologies relevant to naval architecture.
• Participate in project meetings, providing technical expertise and updates on project status.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Proficiency in Rhino and Orca 3D.

Work Experience

• 3+ years of experience in naval architecture or marine engineering, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
