As a temporary Restaurant Manager for the Biometric Passport Project in Manama you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant located within the passport processing centre Your main duties will include managing the staff ensuring high-quality service and food maintaining inventory and handling customer complaints To excel in this role you should have previous experience as a Restaurant Manager and possess excellent leadership and communication skills You must also be able to work under pressure and adapt to changing situations Knowledge of food safety regulations and basic accounting principles is necessary

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the restaurant including staff inventory budget and customer service
• Train new employees on company policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Monitor food quality and presentation to maintain high standards
• Handle customer complaints promptly and effectively
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
• Create schedules for staff to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours
• Keep track of inventory levels and place orders as needed
• Oversee cash handling procedures and manage financial transactions accurately

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role preferably in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team
