Job summary

Responsibilities

• Contact individuals by telephone in order to solicit sales for goods or services.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing publications.
• Conduct client or market surveys and typed detailed notes regarding sale or service offered.
• Deliver prepared salestalks, reading from scripts that describe products or services, to persuade potential customers to purchase.
• Explain products or services and prices, and answer questions from customers.
• Maintain records of contacts, accounts, and orders in the company’s system.
• Obtain names and telephone numbers of potential customers from sources such as referrals, cold calling, and other legal means.
• Assist and support the line manager by taking tasks assigned by them when necessary.

• Contactindividualsbytelephoneinordertosolicitsalesforgoodsorservices. solutions,preparingreports,andmakingrecommendationstomanagement.
• Maintainsprofessionalandtechnicalknowledgebyattendingeducational workshops,reviewingprofessionalpublications,establishingpersonalnetworks,andparticipatinginprofessionalsocieties.
• Conductclientormarketsurveys,andtypedetailed notesregardingsaleorserviceoffered.
• Deliverpreparedsalestalks,readingfromscriptsthat describeproductsorservices,to persuadepotentialcustomerstopurchaseaproduct orservice.
• Explainproductsorservicesandprices,andanswerquestionsfromcustomers.
• Maintain records ofcontacts, accounts,and orders in the company’s system only.
