Job summary

Pramac, a Generac Company, seeks a Purchasing Officer to support the Bahrain generator factory. You will turn purchase requests into purchase orders and track deliveries through to payment and PO closure in the ERP system.

You will help source local suppliers as the business moves from overseas sources to local manufacturers, onboarding suppliers and ensuring compliance with the Supplier Code of Conduct. Collaboration with Production, Engineering, Quality, Logistics, Finance and Sales is

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
2–4 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Hands-on purchasing experience in an ERP system.
Strong Excel and numerical skills.
Working knowledge of Incoterms, RFQ and quotation comparison process, and basic negotiation.
Fluent in English and Arabic, spoken and written, to work with local and international suppliers.

Responsibilities

Process purchase requests from multiple departments and convert them into POs in the ERP system.
Coordinate PO delivery, supplier confirmation, and terms; support inbound logistics.
Resolve delivery issues, shortages, or discrepancies with suppliers and internal teams.
Assist in supplier onboarding, NDAs, and supplier documentation.
Prepare monthly purchasing reports and ensure compliance with company policies.
