Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding is seeking a Manager Warehouse & Manual Handling in Manama, Bahrain. The role oversees end-to-end warehouse operations, drives continuous improvement, and ensures safety, efficiency, and compliance across inbound, storage, and outbound processes.

You will lead supervisors and support expansion initiatives, coordinate with IT, solutions, and customers, and implement WMS optimizations to meet contractual targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, industrial engineering, operations management, business administration, or related field.
• Typically 8–12 years of warehouse, contract-LOGISTICS, or supply-chain experience.
• 3–5 years in a warehouse management role.
• Proven experience designing, setting up, and launching new warehouse operations.
• Experience leading WMS implementation and optimization projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end warehouse operations, including inbound, storage, picking, packing, and outbound activities.
• Drive safety, accuracy, cost control, and KPI performance in line with SLAs and customer expectations.
• Oversee labor planning, space optimization, and equipment utilization.
• Lead design and expansion projects for warehouses, layouts, and capacity improvements.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams for customer onboarding, solution implementation, and go-live activities.
