Job summary

DTEB Engineering Consultancy in Bahrain seeks a Senior Architect to lead architectural design projects from concept to delivery. You will develop designs, coordinate with structural and MEP teams, review drawings, and ensure compliance with local regulations.

You will guide junior staff, manage client communications, and help advance BIM workflows while maintaining high-quality design standards. This role expects extensive experience and leadership within multidisciplinary projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture; 12+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience leading architectural design and multidisciplinary projects.
• Strong knowledge of building regulations, construction methods and detailing.
• Experience dealing with clients, contractors and government authorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design projects from concept through design completion.
• Develop and review concept and detailed designs and construction documentation.
• Prepare and review architectural drawings, specifications and schedules.
• Ensure designs are functional, aesthetically appropriate, technically sound and commercially viable.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP and other disciplines; review shop drawings and submissions.
• Participate in site inspections and address issues during construction.
• Provide guidance to junior architects and technicians; allocate tasks appropriately.
• Support development of Bahraini and graduate architects within DTEB.
