Fletcher Piccolo Associates (FPA) in Manama, Bahrain, is seeking an experienced Development Coordinator within its development team. The role focuses on master planning, consultant management and pre-contract activities across residential, commercial, hospitality and mixed-use developments.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field and 10–15 years’ experience, including at least 5 years in the GCC, with strong stakeholder coordination and technical review

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Real Estate or a related discipline.
• 10–15 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in the GCC.
• Experience in master planning, development management, infrastructure design and pre-contract activities.
• Strong consultant coordination, stakeholder management and technical review skills.
• Experience in Bahrain would be an advantage.

Responsabilités

• Support development strategy by reviewing feasibility studies and identifying key project components.
• Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Review and coordinate master plans, subdivision designs, layouts, community facilities and landscaping proposals.
• Manage and review consultant deliverables, ensuring alignment with the development strategy and client requirements.
• Support the preparation of RFPs, scopes of work, tender documentation and consultant prequalification.
• Review architectural, engineering and infrastructure drawings, specifications and tender packages.
• Coordinate with project management, cost management and construction teams to address design and development-related issues.
• Monitor consultant performance, project programmes, budgets and deliverables.
• Support feasibility and viability assessments and contribute to the evaluation of design and development options.

Role:

Based within the development team, the role involves coordinating with external consultants and internal teams across the development process, with a focus on master planning, design and consultant management, and pre-contract activities.

Key Responsibilities:
