Job summary

TradesApp is seeking an experienced Director of Insurance Advisory to lead the growth, commercial performance, and delivery of its advisory practice across the GCC. The role targets boards, executives, regulators, and investors with high-value offerings and strategic engagements.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of professional experience in management consulting or advisory.
• At least 5 years in senior leadership roles (Director level or equivalent).
• Strong insurance-sector expertise across general insurance, life and health, takaful, reinsurance, broking, or claims.
• Fluent business English with excellent communication, presentation, and proposal-writing skills.
• Willingness to be based in Bahrain and travel regularly across the GCC.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the advisory practice strategy, annual plan, and multi-year growth roadmap.
• Own practice P&L, including revenue, gross margin, utilization, headcount, and costs.
• Develop high-value, repeatable advisory offerings aligned with market demand.
• Build a qualified pipeline and establish reliable sales and delivery forecasts.
• Lead client discovery, opportunity qualification, proposal development, pricing, negotiation, and contracting.
• Expand strategic accounts through cross-selling and follow-on opportunities.
• Serve as executive sponsor for engagements, ensuring delivery quality and client satisfaction.
• Develop offerings across insurance strategy, transformation, regulatory advisory, governance, and digital transformation.
